There are many ways to start your own online business to make money online. How great of a job would that be to make a full time income from home working no more than just a few hours a day? Learn to run your own successful email marketing campaign and that can be you!

The first thing you need to do is to write down exactly why you want to start an email marketing campaign. This could be any motivating factors such as, I want to quit my day job, I want to make $200,000 a year, or I want the freedom to work when and wherever I please. Whatever motivates you write it down.

Then take that piece of paper and put it somewhere where you can see it and be reminded of it everyday. This may sound silly but it will help to motivate you when you just don't feel like doing the necessary work. Trust me, there will be times when you wont feel like doing anything, and it is these obstacles that you will need to overcome in order to build a list so big people will start paying you to use your list.

Once you are enrolled with an email marketing company, it's all about boosting the list. Here's what you can do.

First, create a squeeze page or lead capture page that is designed specifically for this purpose. All successful email marketing campaigns have at least one squeeze page they are promoting to capture name and email addresses. There are plenty of free squeeze page generators to help you build a nice looking squeeze page.

On your squeeze page you need to offer something of value, whatever that may be. Give away something that they need or can't do without. Give them software, ebooks, free services, or just about anything that they would easily just simply sign their name and email to get.

It sounds simple right? Well it is. The tough part is putting it in front of enough people to make your squeeze page effective.

A successful email marketing campaign requires great marketing skills. If you really want to boost your opt in list to the levels you need to make enough money to quit your day job, you have to be consistent with your efforts. Here's what you can do to increase your opt in list...

Make sure your opt in form is above the fold and visible on your blogs and websites. Then add unique content on a daily basis. Once you add the content be sure to social bookmark all the posts as well.

Promote your squeeze pages with pay-per click advertising. This can be a great way to increase the list if done correctly. I'll warn you though to be careful here and do your research before you start spending money.

Create an info product, give it away for free only making them sign their name and email to get it, then use joint venture partners with a list to promote it. Offer them money if need be. This one method in and of itself has the potential to increase your list by thousands.

I'm sure I'm missing some effective methods to increase your list but I hope you get the point. The harder you work on promoting your list, the greater results you will get.

Once you got the list it is up to you to build a complete and trusting relationship with those people. Continue to add value and make them not regret joining. Once you they trust you and the things that you offer, they will be more likely to buy from you when you do have something to sell.
