For those of us who are currently promoting an online based business, we certainly realize the importance of article marketing. It is a wonderful free tool we can use to bring us targeted traffic and increase the number of back links we have to our web site.

It is optimal to write an average of two articles a week but many people have success writing less and/or more. I try to write about 8 articles a month and have a great method I would like to share with you to make your article writing more easy.

A large part of article writing or writing for any matter has to do with the mind set of the individual. None of us are born good writers. We simply live and learn from our mistakes. It took me awhile to find a method that worked, but once I did I became about as efficient as possible writing articles. Here's what I do to make article marketing easy on myself.

So, the first thing you need is an idea or topic. Many people don't write because they don't know where to start. Well, all niches have certain keywords that their potential customers use to find information. Put yourself in their shoes. What would you type in to find the information you are offering? Once you have that, you have your main keywords to write about.

There are two ways to go about the next step. If you have your keywords, great, if you have run out of keywords and are struggling to find a topic... no problem. Go to EzineArticles.com and do a search of either your keywords or an expert author in your field. Searching for an author who knows what they are doing may be the best way to go.

Once you have done the search, you will have a multitude of results to choose from. What you are going to do is find an article that best represents what you want to write about then you are going to rewrite it. It is absolutely imperative that you never copy an article word for word unless you have permission from the author him or her self or you include the authors bio box at the end of THEIR article.

It is okay to rewrite an articles topic because I can almost guarantee you that the topic has been written and rewritten a thousand times or more.

Using EzineArticles.com is a great asset and you should be posting your articles there as well as using it as a writing resource. There are also a plethora of other articles you should use to submit your articles to as well. Here's a list of the top 20 article directories to submit to.

The ability to get traffic to your website will make or break your online home business. For those who have been running their business for awhile know that I'm not just talking about a few visitors a day. In order to really succeed making money online, you are going to need a considerable amount of targeted daily traffic on a consistent basis.

No matter what type of site you have, the most difficult part of running an online home business is establishing your website all over the internet and making its presence felt. You absolutely will not make any money until you learn to drive massive amounts of targeted traffic to your website.

There is a very large myth and misconception about earning an income online. Many people who first start their own home based business are coming in with expectations of overnight riches and extreme wealth. This method may be the easiest way to earn income online right away but will not be able to provide you with the amount of money you will need to make a living.
