Making money from home has never been as easy as it is today. Namely all because the advent of the internet. Before the internet there were plenty of MLM companies that you had the chance to succeed with but they all required a ton more busy work and money than the internet requires.
Making money from home now is leaps and bounds more convenient and much easier.Making money from home before the internet required plenty of face to face contact and referrals to get that contact. Are you well versed, skilled, and have more knowledge about a certain subject than anyone you know? If so, you stand a great chance of making money with that knowledge by using the internet.
People are becoming more comfortable about making purchases online, thus information products are selling at an all time high and not likely to slow down. So what you can do to make money from home now is to write and sell an EBook.
It sounds much more complicated than it actually is. An EBook is simply a digital book that people can download usually in a .pdf file format. The great thing about selling EBooks is that the inventory is unlimited. Once you write the EBook you’ll never run out of copies and can profit virtually forever!
If you feel like you can sit down and write a 50 page EBook, great! Most people have never written a book before and just don’t feel comfortable with their writing skills…no problem, outsource the work.
Outsourcing is an easy thing to do on the internet. There are people of many skills all across the globe and it is so simple to connect with these people. If you need to hire a writer, do so. It’s relatively cheap considering what you stand to make from an infinite amount of product.
If you don’t have the money to outsource, I would recommend you go ahead and give writing a shot. You may be surprised at how easy it is to write on a subject you know a lot about.
Before you write anything or pay someone to do so, you’ll want to test the market first. Here’s how to do that…
Lets say I know a lot about playing Texas Hold ‘Em Poker and I want to see if an EBook on the subject will sell. Do a quick Google search to see what kind of websites there are and what others are selling on those websites. Go to Google and type in the main keyword or words for whatever subject it is. In this case it’s Texas hold em poker.
It appears there are a ton of websites and many of which are selling info products which is good. It means you can have success too. Here’s the catch though… you’ll have to start your website based on less competitive keyword phrases so you can pick up free traffic to your new website that is pitching the book.
All you have to do is go to a free Keyword Tool like Googles Adword Tool and type in the main keywords for that subject. Again, here it would be Texas Hold ‘Em.
What you’ll see is a print out of all the synonyms of the keyword (keyword phrase) and the monthly search volumes. So Texas hold em gets an average search volume of a million times a month. Lets just say that you wouldn’t have to work another day in your life if your website and ebook were positioned in that number one spot. Unfortunately getting to that number one spot will take much more work than writing a thousand of those EBooks.
The reason you wont be able to rank high for Texas hold em is because there are over 14 million competing websites for those keywords. I know this by typing in “Texas hold em” with quotes in Google. On the right hand side of the search results it shows 1 – 10 of about 14,000,000.
What you want to look for are keywords that have a volume of over 1,000 search results a month using the keyword tool and under 10,000 competing results in the Google search engine. Do a few tests and see if you can find some. Keep in mind to use the quotations in Google to find the number of competitors.
If you can find more than a handful of these “Money Keywords”, you can stand to profit by picking up free traffic very quickly.
Not a lot of people are too aware of this method and if you do it correctly you should be able to find some gem keywords no matter what topic you might be interested in.
The next step of the process is to add content to your new website that will be promoting your EBook. Write 5 – 10 articles using those keywords you found and publish them on your new site.
The last step would be to pick up some back links to your website by using article marketing, blog commenting, posting in forums, and placing your new website in some directory listings. The more back links you have the higher you’ll rank in the search engines. Of course, you won’t need much because the keywords you choose have little to no competition.
So the formula to make money from home now is to find a subject you are versed in and do some research to see if there is enough demand to even sell that EBook. Then get the EBook written, either by yourself or outsourced. Get a domain and host, add content, then pick up back links to your website.
That’s really all there is to making money from home now!
One thing I want to add is that no matter what type of website you are running, be sure to have an opt in form on your website that is used to pick up names and emails. Once you get those names and emails, you should have about 10 or so emails giving away needed info and selling your EBook.
