Welcome back. For those of you viewing this for the first time…welcome.
I am now 8 days deep in my “Follow My Footsteps” series. I have not set an ending date for this series simply because I will not give up until I have reached my goals and I don’t know how long that will take. I have set myself some pretty lofty goals (You can review my goals here) but know for 100% certainty that I will achieve those goals.
Last week, aside from the overall goals I had set for myself, I had also set some weekly goals that I wanted to tackle. Let’s review them now…
1. Getting an opt-in sign up form on both blogs. Done and done. They are in the top right hand corner of both my blogs. Although I did notice a glitch on my blogger blog. The opt-in box only shows up under the main blog. If you were to click or land on any of the specific posts you aren’t able to see it. That will be fixed very shortly.
2. Figure out how to add screen shots to my blog. I had that accomplished the same night and will be using that knowledge later in this post.
3. Rewrite some emails. What I did was add a whole new campaign especially for my SFI affiliates encouraging them to upgrade or add PIPS to their repertoire as well.
4. Write more ads in TrafficSwarm. Added to ten total adds. I am going to add 10 more this week.
5. Learn how to use Stumbleupon effectively. Success! Don’t stumble your own posts too much and write legit reviews for other likable posts and websites. The more friends you have the more authority you carry. I had 80 unique visitors all from Stumbleupon even before I woke up this morning! It certainly is a valuable tool.
6. Write and distribute two articles. I wrote and distributed one using the leverage option through SYA which you can view here. I’m one behind which means I must now write three this week.
All in all I’d say it was a pretty productive week. Lets take a look at some of the stats which we are watching.
First up, unique visitors last week…
1890 total unique visitors last week. I will compare them to previous weeks as we progress.
Opt-in subscribers…
It seems I have lost a subscriber and gained one that has yet to confirm. This is something I really need to work on.
Last but not least… my Google Adsense stats…
I am up $2.41 since last week. I can’t retire yet but I’m well on my way. 
All those numbers will go up drastically and I can say this with complete confidence being that it is summer time and a very slow part of the season. All the hard work I put in now will pay off come the winter months.
That being said, I have a busier week ahead as I have some major plans that should keep your interest here. This weeks goals are as follows…
- Get some personal pictures of myself up on my blogs and some of my social sites.
- I am going to write at least two blog posts a day. Not all of them will be on this blog.
- Write and submit three articles.
- Study more about using Photoshop.
- Setup a series of training letters for newbies looking to get started with affiliate programs.
- I am going to lose some Pay Per Lead Banners and add quality Clickbank products in place of them.
- I’m going to have a “best comment” contest and pay the winner up to $20.
- Lastly, I am going to do a lot of niche research in hopes of finding and developing two new and very profitable websites.
This weeks posts in “Follow My Footsteps” will be very informative as I lead you down the path of choosing a new niche. I have read some very interesting posts and information regarding finding a profitable niche and plan on testing my knowledge and posting the process and results right here on this blog.
