Today is Monday, July 28, 2008. A brand new day and with it, fresh new ideas.For almost a year now I have been a witness and a student to those who make a living online. Today I make the commitment to do all it takes to get to that same position.
I have been implementing certain strategy’s with a little success. In fact, I can honestly say that I am making money online at this point but nowhere near where I want to be and am going to be. What I want to do is make the commitment to post everything I do in this road to success right here on this blog so you, my avid readers, can be a true witness to this and hopefully learn a lot from me as well.
What You Can Look Forward To.
Each day I will post my daily activities right here on this blog so if you haven’t subscribed to my feed, please do so now. Most of the activities I will be doing are the same things that I have been preaching on this blog since it’s inception in February of this year; writing articles, posting in forums, submitting to link directories, etc. The only difference is I will be upping my promoting efforts and I want to provide you with proof that these methods really work.
I will be sharing screen shots of various stats; traffic, sales, opt-ins, etc.. I want to prove that with the right effort and mindset, that anyone can make a living online.
Starting Today!
I am taking this project seriously and have set some goals and tasks to make sure I succeed. I have a 5 subject binder that I have purchased to help keep me organized.
Today I wrote down some long term goals. What I want to take from my home based business and when I want to accomplish it. I have posted this on my bed stand and my desk so I will be reminded of them constantly…
They are as follows:
By the end of 2009, all of this hard work will bring me…
- 500-1000 visitors a day
- 10,000 opt-in subscribers
- Freedom to work from wherever I please
- A new car
- Loooooonggg vacations
- A top 100,000 Alexa ranking
- $250,000
Along with my long term goals, I have set short term goals as well. Each Sunday or Monday I will write down the goals I want to accomplish throughout the week.
This weeks goals are as follows:
- Get opt-in sign-up form on both blogs.
- Figure out how to add screen shots to blog.
- rewrite some emails in opt-in list to make them more personal.
- Write more ads in Traffic Swarm.
- Learn how to use Stumbleupon effectively.
- Write and distribute two articles.
Of course I have daily goals that I want to accomplish each and every day. They are as follows:
- Posting 5-10 times in various forums.
- Write at least 2 blog posts each day.
- Submit to 20 online directories.
- Submitting to social and bookmark sites.
So you can see that running and maintaining an internet business does involve some work. I hope to prove though that it is possible for anyone to do. As soon as I figure what software I have to use to post some screen shots I will do so to show everyone where my stats are before beginning this project. Until then you can still expect the same informative posts and articles that I have been delivering as well as my daily tasks from the day before.
Expect a lot of freebies, helpful links, and a ton of free and no bs information from this venture.
