Great article - focus on the quality - there's enough junk on the internet already! I would like to add that 'latest blog' entry can also get good traffic if you are choosing your titles carefully :) If you post on forum 'regularly' people start recognizing you and if you are helping others they can sometimes become your customers. I have seen that most people just put 'home' page of their websites in signature while an internal page with an interesting story or viral content is often better. @Matt: Good points there.
