An email marketing campaign may be one of the most profitable ways to make money from home using the internet. Consider how easy it is to get someones name and email, and the fact that once you do, you can market whatever you like for as long as that person remains on your list.
First things first though and before you can make any money from an email marketing campaign, you are going to need to create a list. This list should be full of potential customers who WANT to hear what you have to offer.
So…lets say you are promoting a fat loss affiliate product and you want to use an email marketing campaign to do so. Here’s what you can do…
You cant just run an email marketing campaign and pitch the fat loss product right away. You need to offer your target market something of value and you need to give it to them for free…no questions asked.
Think like your customer first and ask yourself what someone like that might be interested in. Someone looking for a fat loss product may also fall into the same category as someone looking for advice on how to exercise and eat properly right? Sure, absolutely!
So you create a series of emails and a bunch of free e-books with nothing but free information on how to exercise and eat properly. But…and here’s the catch…they have to provide their name and email before they can get all this free information. Once people see you have a ton of free content to offer, they will give you their name and email. Letting them know that the offer is on the table for just a limited time will help increase your sign up rate as well. Waa lah! That is how you create your list.
Now just throw in a handful of emails into your exercise and eating healthy newsletter pitching your affiliate weight loss products and you should be able to get some sales. Now you have yourself a sales funnel and making money through an email marketing campaign is really that easy.
But wait, were not done yet…
To really skyrocket your sign ups you’ll need to test a few different squeeze pages and sign up forms along with the sales copy to find what works best.
There are also plenty of ways you can promote the squeeze pages for free, but you should also look into some paid forms of advertising as well like pay-per-click campaigns. If you set this up right, your email marketing campaign can be set up to make you profits without you doing anything more than tweaking a few things to boost your conversion rates. A set it and forget it way to make money. And isn’t that the best way to make money? I certainly think so!
