Internet marketing and making money online from home is really not that difficult once you know what you have to do.  The thing that separates those that make money online from those who don’t is that the successful ones are the ones who take action.

There is a varying degree of learning that comes with internet marketing.  Some pick up quicker than others and can apply what they learn much sooner.  What you have to do first is make the commitment to succeed NO MATTER WHAT!

OK, so maybe some of you have already made the commitment but after a few months or years of trying, still have not seen the fruits of your labor.  I can pretty much guarantee you haven’t seen any success BECAUSE you haven’t done enough work yet to warrant that success.  Success is only defined in the bearers mind and the time it takes to reach success has to be fair to that persons situation.  Let me give you an idea of just what I am talking about.

Someone who doesn’t have a committed job outside of the house has more time to commit to making their internet business succeed compared to someone who is already working a full time job aside from the internet stuff.  Both of their goals are to be able to make a full time living using the internet.

Who has the better chance to reach that goal?

Don’t be too quick to jump to conclusions…

Lets say for example that the jobless person, whom we’ll call person A, writes 5 articles a week and posts to a blog 5 times a week.  And the person working the 40 hour job, person B, does exactly the same amount of work online.  Person A is a slow writer and has not used a computer much and so it takes this person much longer to accomplish a simple task.  Person B is very knowledgeable with computers and can type fast and put out articles without much though.

Who has the better chance of succeeding now?

Well they are both equal so long as they have a never quit mentality.

If person A were to stick with it long enough to learn some basic skills and committ to improving writing skills, then that person has a great chance to succeed because person A has all the time in the world.  Person B just has to stay committed to doing his/her work outside of the normal job even if that person is not feeling up to it at the time.

My point here is that everyone who is struggling to make money online has to give it a legitimate shot before they can say “That didn’t work for me.” and walk away.  You either have to pick up the pace or just be patient enough for it to work. You have to take your situation and all things considered to mind and then decide if making money online is going to be the best decision for you.

A very high percentage of people who come on to the internet to make money do not know what they are getting themselves into before they do it.  They write 5 – 10 articles and don’t see any money as a result of the work and they quit.  What a waste of time!  Do your research and know what you are getting into before even wasting your time.

If your goal is to make a full time income online, then go out and do the research to see how people who are already making a living online do it.  Write down exactly what it is they do and how they got to that point.

Now you have all that information in front of you and you know that you too can get to that point if you just create and implement a plan to get there.

So and so’s website that is making $5,000 a month has X amount of back links, X amount of posts, and is promoting product X for X amount of dollars.

If you want to to make $5,000 a month you can, you just have to copy and implement the plan. For example, I know I have to get X amount of back links so that means I have to write X amount of articles per year, or X per month, X per week, and that means I just have to write X per day.

Break down everything you need to do in years, months, weeks, and finally what you need to do on a daily basis to get to that point.

Is it possible to make money online?  You betcha it is!  You just have to know what you have to do, then do it!

Today is my 3rd day into this project and so far I have been getting overwhelming support for my cause here. Which is good because my cause is to make money and prove to everyone that IT IS possible for anyone to make money online. Everyday I will post my activities and promoting efforts, most of which will cost little or no money at all.

Moving right along now. Yesterday I changed my blog theme to its present state and in doing so I asked the warriors at the Warrior Forum for their very educated opinions. The response I got was what I expected, but the traffic I got and am still getting is absolutely amazing.

One little post has brought me an open flood gate of traffic. In one day I had over 15 responses to my post and over 200 views, many of which visited my blog to check it out.

Using the Warrior Forum has been so helpful in more ways than I can count. Not only can you get great ideas and advice, you can also use them to find jv partners, up the number of back links, and even sell items.

They have been a great help for any questions I have had (which are a lot). You can expect an answer to just about any question (on topic of course) in a matter of minutes, sometimes seconds.

I also placed six more ads on TrafficSwarm in attempt to get more people signed up into my newsletter. I am and have been using TraficSwarm

specifically for that purpose only. I now have a total of ten ads running and really hope this gets some people to take the bait. I may ad another five ads for a total of 15 depending on how fast my credits get depleted.

The way TrafficSwarm works is you have to click on other ads to build up credits. When someone clicks on your ad, it uses up one of your credits. You can buy credits, get credits from referrals you bring in, having your referrals surf for credits, or by clicking through and surfing through ads yourself.

The majority of my credits come from my own surfing. I have 8 members in my down line and receive credits from them every so often but they don’t seem to surf as much as I need them too. Today I surfed for 300 credits.

In addition to adding ads, surfing for credits, and posting on the Warrior Forum, I also submitted my website to 10 directories and submitted an article to SubmitYourArticle.com for leveraged distribution.

I have been using SYA to distribute my articles for the last 10 or so months and they really make my life much more easy. I’ll be talking much more about them in future posts. I used to pay them $37 a month for their services which is well worth the cost. However today they pay me…can’t beat that. Heres a look at my current commissions…

I’m sure that with time these numbers will go up as well. It’s only natural.

That’s all for now. I got plenty more to do today so I have material for tomorrow. I’m now one more day closer to reaching my goals.

There are so many ways to make money online but the one thing you must do to ensure your success is…do something everyday. This may not sound like sound advice or the advice you were looking for but it is the absolute truth. You can read though all the information, buy all the tools, and setup the perfect marketing plan but if you don’t put it into action on a constant, daily basis, your home based business will not make you a measly cent.

Of course all of the aforementioned tasks (seeking info and help, purchasing software and tools, setting up a plan) will help you succeed in making money online and are equally vital. But the call to action is what your main focus must be on.

The best way to do this is to get in a daily rhythm. Physically write down some things that you would like to or need to accomplish each day. For example, in my business I constantly have to be getting back-links to my site. I have a checklist in front of me so I know that before I do anything else, I have to submit 10 forum posts, write either a blog post and/or an article, submit that article or blog post, then submit my website to 20 directories.

At first this may seem like quite a task, but after doing it several days and weeks in a row, the task becomes much smoother and much easier to do. In fact it becomes so efficient you are able to step it up a notch and add more “to do” things and push yourself to do more every day.

So…if you want to make money online, you have to find that drive and determination and make the commitment to succeed. Do something productive towards your home based business every day, then push yourself to do more.

A brief warning: There will be times, many times that it may seem as if your efforts are going to vain. You’ve been working hard for quite awhile and still have not seen the results you had hoped for or expected. My advice when that happens…do more. Seriously, find the time, lose out on some sleep, do whatever it takes to succeed. Just don’t give up.

Ask yourself, “How bad do I want this?”

What works for me is to set up visuals of my goals and aspirations. For example, I wrote out a fake check with the amount of money I will one day make and pinned it up on my desk where I can see it every day. As soon as I feel like I’m tired or don’t want to do anymore, I see that check and it reminds of what I am working for…then I’m back at it.

Focusing on the end result and having a constant reminder will really help with your efforts. If making enough money online to quit your day job is your goal, just think how good it will feel the day you can walk out of that job and never have to walk back in again. Acheving a goal you’ve worked so hard to get has to be one of the best feelings in the world. Focus on that feeling…do something everyday to get there.

If you have the ability to learn and determination to succeed you can tap into a powerful income source that the internet can provide. That brings me to my next point. Find out who is making the big bucks online, study and copy their methods. Type in some keywords that have a lot of competition and click on some of the top results. Those are the people who are are working hard at making money and are using real online business opportunities to do so. If they are making money doing what they are doing, you can too!

The one thing to remember though, the internet is not going to be your get rich quick ticket out of the rat race. Think of it more as a marathon. I strongly believe that anything is possible in this world. You can literally achieve anything you set your mind to as long as you believe it is possible and you make strives to achieve that goal on a daily basis. Can anyone make money online? Yes, absolutely!

Making money online is like making money at your job. You have to work hard to get paid good. The only difference is you first have to learn how to make money online if you plan on doing it by yourself rather than working for someone who will pay you an hourly wage.

This learning process will take some time. Be patient. Do your research and take the cheap routes first. Paying money to make money online before you know what you are doing is a very bad idea. This is why most people fail. They look for an easy way out, are too trusting, and end up spending way more than they can afford without seeing much for return on their investment.
