Im sure a great deal of you said yes to that question. Who wouldn’t be motivated to make money right?
Well, let me tell you how many people are making money online without having their own product idea and without using affiliate programs.
Creating PLR Products
PLR stands for private label rights and what that means is people can either sell or give away an x amount of private label rights for a product that they have made.
For example, I create a product and instead of selling it and promoting the product, I instead offer it as a PLR product and sell 50 or so licenses for it. Thus it takes away all the troubles and costs of trying to get people to buy my product and puts that trouble to the people who buy the rights to sell the product.
This an attractive way to make money online because….well people are lazy and don’t have time to make their own products. So I sell 50 rights to my product I have created and sell the rights for lets say $50. Boom, I just made $2500!
Or I could create a PLR membership site and have an x amount of people subscribe to my site and give those x amount of people an x amount of PLR products weekly or monthly. And this is what many people have done and have done successfully because both the site master and the site customers benefit from the PLR membership site.
How Do I Make Money With a PLR Product From a PLR Membership Site?
On the other side of the fence are the people who are receiving the PLR’s to promote. Any successful PLR promoter can tell you that they don’t just take the product “as is” and promote it that way. They instead take the product and completely redo everything to make it officially and uniquely theirs.
Lets use another example here so you can get a better idea on how one can take a PLR product from a PLR Membership site and make money from it…
Okay, so I am a paying monthly customer for a certain PLR membership site, paying roughly $30 a month to have access to all these great PLR products to choose from. What I want to do first is read through all of the different PLR products just to see what they have and if these PLR products are going to have enough demand to make me a decent amount of money.
I know that there are other members in the PLR membership site that have the same access to the products as I do but that doesn’t concern me too much because the PLR product I choose is going to be completely different than what it is and what anyone else is going to do. Here’s what I mean…
Lets say I decide to take a PLR ebook that goes into detail about how to create profit by using Google Adwords. Judging by what I know, there are plenty of people who use Google Adwords and many of which don’t have a clue as how to use it effectively. So there is a target market to sell to.
After I decide which PLR product I am to use, I will then take that book and rewrite it in my own words. I will take some time to do some research and add to it as I see fit. I may even offer instructional videos and/or audio or Camtasia screen clips that go along with the book. Anytime I take a PLR product I am going to add to it to make it unique and much, much, better than the original.
Then I will take and redo all the graphics, i.e. book cover, sales page, promotional banners, etc. I can either do this myself or pay someone to do it. So by the time I am done with it, Ill have a completely different product than what the webmaster offered originally at the PLR membership site.
Once the book is rewritten and the graphics are all done, Ill get my domain name and host and get to work promoting it.
Thats it! You’ve got one PLR product done and pulling residual income for you. If done right, you’ll make much more than the $30 a month your paying to remain a member there. If you sell the product for $30, all you have to do is sell two and you are making 100% profit. Not bad. Do you think you can sell just 2? I would hope so. If you’ve done your research correctly Im sure you’ll sell much more than that. Or take the product and sell it as a PLR product mentioned above. 50 licenses at $50 = $2500!
The best part is, you shouldn’t just stop at one product. Try to do one a month and after a year you’ll have 12 products all pulling in residual income. Then you should be making enough money where you wont have to do anything for awhile. Take a few months off!
