Are you interested in setting up a WordPress blog to be hosted on your server but just don’t have the time or know how? Certainly understandable, not alot of people do, and we PIPSters are marketers not techies right?

Of course you already know how important blogging and social bookmarking are to receiving traffic, and you also know how WordPress’s configuration, ease of use, and search engine capabilities are head and shoulders above any of the other blog platforms.

The fact is, WordPress is THE WAY TO BLOG TODAY, and you need to get it installed because if you don’t your competition will leave you in the dust. Let me handle the dirty work for you so all you have to do is write and post. Here’s what I’ll do…

First, Ill let you choose your own template from thousands (literally) of Wordpress blog themes.

Next I will configure your server and setup a new MySql database.

Then I will install your blog fully equipped with all of the following:

• Akismet - Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not.
• All in one SEO pack - SEO’s all of your blog posts putting your blog post first and blog title second in the title bar along with other options as well.
• Digg This - Adds Digg story link on detection on Digg referrer.
• Google Sitemap Generator - This plug in will generate a sitemaps.org compatible sitemap of your WordPress blog which is supported by Ask.com, Google, MSN Search and YAHOO.
• Do Follow - All WordPress blogs come standard with the rel=”nofollow” attribute meaning users who leave comments will not be rewarded a back link. Do follow disables the rel=nofollow attribute in comments.
• Sociable - A simple plug in which lists a range of social bookmarking sites allowing visitors to quickly socially bookmark the post/page they are currently viewing.
• WhyDoWork Adsense - Will allow you to customize the placement of Google Adsense ads in different areas of your blog.
• Subscribe to Comments - Allows users(readers) to receive notifications of new comments that are posted after their own.
• What Would Seth Godin Do - Displays a custom welcome message to new visitors and another to return visitors.

Aside from all the add-ons and plug ins, I will also have email consultation for any questions or concerns you may have about WordPress and blogging in general. I will also sign you up for a free version of Statcounter and upload it to all of your pages to give you amazing statistics about how the traffic is finding your website. Find a template or blog theme of your choice. There are thousands of them. You can do a search, or start here. Find one you like, then email me at matthelphrey@gmail.com

In your email make sure to include your name and the url (http://pageoftemplatedownload.com) of the page where I can download your selected template. If not I will just set you up with the default Wordpress template or choose one for you.

I also need some log in, password, and ftp information for your Host4Profit account in order to do the install. This is very important. When you signed up for your website at Host4Profit, you should have gotten an email from their support, subject “Welcome To Host4Profit” In this email I will need all of the information under “Publishing Your Website”…

In this email you send to me I will also need a valid email address where I can reach you and the blog title of your new blog (which can be changed anytime).

Once I have received all the above information and everything checks out, we will arrange a payment via PayPal. After payment is received I will get to work on your blog and send you an instructional email detailing what you need to do to start blogging.
